What is MacroPep?
MacroPep is a private iOS app for tracking your workouts, nutrition, body, and the protocols you follow under your provider's direction — all in one place, stored on your device.
Is MacroPep free?
Yes — workouts, body tracking, manual meal logging, and food search are free. MacroPep Pro (a subscription with a 7-day free trial) unlocks the Doses module, the Recipe library, and barcode scanning.
How much is MacroPep Pro?
Pro is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, both with a 7-day free trial. The current price is always shown in the app before you subscribe.
How do I restore my subscription on a new phone?
Open Settings → Subscription → Restore purchases. Your Pro subscription follows your Apple ID, so there's no account or password to remember.
How do I cancel?
Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription, or in the App Store app under your account → Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the current billing period.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. MacroPep has no account and no cloud — your workouts, meals, body data, and protocols never leave your phone. (The only thing sent out is the food search text you type, to look up nutrition.) Your data is included in your normal device/iCloud backup.
How do I get my data back on a new phone?
Sign into the same Apple ID and restore from your device backup — your MacroPep data comes back with it.
Does MacroPep give medical advice?
No. MacroPep is an informational tracking tool only. The protocol features are for tracking substances you take under a licensed provider's direction — MacroPep does not provide medical advice and does not recommend, endorse, or sell any substance. Always consult a licensed provider.
Does it work with Apple Health?
Yes. With your permission, MacroPep reads your steps and body weight from Apple Health, and writes your finished workouts and weight back to it.
Which devices are supported?
MacroPep is an iPhone app and requires iOS 17 or later.
