MacroPep — Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the MacroPep app (“MacroPep,” “the app”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. This EULA supplements Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (LEULA), which also applies.

1. Not medical advice

MacroPep is an informational and tracking tool only. It does not provide medical, health, dosing, or pharmacological advice, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to use, obtain, or take any substance.

• All medication, peptide, hormone, supplement, and dosing information is entered by you. We do not verify it and do not check it for safety, accuracy, interactions, contraindications, or side effects.
• Calculations the app provides (half-life estimates, “saturation”/level estimates, reconstitution math, and dose suggestions) are rough informational estimates, not measured values and not clinical guidance.
• Many compounds you can track or look up — including certain peptides, SARMs, and anabolic agents — are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for human use and may be illegal to obtain, possess, or use where you live. Listing a compound is not an endorsement or encouragement to use it.
• Always consult a licensed healthcare provider before starting, stopping, or changing any medication or substance, and follow your prescriber's instructions.

If you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number immediately.

2. Eligibility (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old to use MacroPep, and you must confirm this before using the medication/peptide tracking features. By using the app you represent that you are 18 or older and legally permitted to use it where you live.

3. Assumption of risk

You use MacroPep at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the data you enter, for any decisions you make, and for ensuring that anything you track or do is legal and appropriate for you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from your use of the app and from any action taken based on app content, calculations, or notifications.

4. Your data and your device

MacroPep stores your data on your device and, where you allow it, in Apple Health. You are responsible for backing up your device and for safeguarding access to it. See the Privacy Policy for details.

5. Third-party services and content

MacroPep integrates with third-party services governed by their own terms and privacy policies, including Apple Health/HealthKit, Apple Music/MusicKit, SoundCloud, Spotify, the FatSecret Platform API (Powered by fatsecret nutrition API — www.fatsecret.com), Open Food Facts (data under the ODbL), and USDA FoodData Central. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or the accuracy of their data.

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

Brand, product, restaurant, and music-service names and logos referenced in the app are trademarks of their respective owners. MacroPep is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any of them; such names are used only to identify the relevant item or service. Nutrition values shown for branded items are estimates and are not provided or verified by the brand.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data, estimate, or calculation is accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event will MacroPep, its developer, or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, health, or property, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the app — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any feature at any time.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where your local consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
